Techweek 2023: Debuting a digital legal systems case study

We recently had the opportunity to present a webinar at Techweek 2023 about how we've supported New Zealand's water services regulator, Taumata Arowai, to enable API reporting of water quality data.

The project sits under The Digital Legal Systems Lab, which is a physical and digital space for exploring new methods of digital legal design through applied case studies, and is a joint venture between Brainbox and Verb's Hamish Fraser.

We think this project is a great case study of exciting things to come in the 'law as code' space, and we were grateful to all those who were able to attend the session.

If you missed it, you can watch a recording of the presentation below:

We'd love to stay in touch if this work is of interest to you. We will be hosting an in-person event in Wellington in the coming months, and also plan to formalise our international networks in this space through a programme of shared discussions about best practice and various institutions' ongoing activities in the law as code area.

If you'd like to hear more about these activities, you can express your interest in the Lab using this form. If you're interested in wider work by Brainbox, you can sign up to our mailing list via the form in our website footer.
